We may collect, use and/ or maintain records of your personal information such as your name, address, phone number, Membership Data and/ or other unique personal identifier, as the case may be, to provide and facilitate use of Generix. The personal information we collect may also be used for the following purposes: for troubleshooting problems and technical or security issues, for detecting and protecting against error, fraud or other criminal activity, to enforce these Terms or as required by any applicable laws, rules or regulations or governmental requirements, for other internal purposes, as otherwise expressly informed at the time of collection, and to keep you informed about our products and services.

We may also maintain and use records of such information to send you updates and news about Generix. If you do not want to receive updates, the Generix Newsletter or other notifications from us, please let us know by indicating your preference when you register for Generix or by emailing us at privacy@generix.me including your mobile telephone number.

Any personal information or content that you voluntarily disclose while using Generix or an associated Third Party Application and/ or Site, which can be viewed by other members thereof (for example, on discussion boards, in messages and chat areas, within your public profile page, via messages or third party services etc.), becomes publicly viewable and can be collected and used by others. Your personal information will be stored and processed on secure servers in the United States. Due to the global nature of the internet, your personal information may be transferred to countries outside the United States whose legal systems do not offer the same protection for your data as the laws of the United States and by using Generix you agree to such transfer. Where you opt to receive communications from Generix, we may transfer your personal information to third parties for storage and processing outside the United States. We will in any event take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your personal information is stored and processed securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and all applicable laws.

We may collect anonymous aggregated information about your general internet and application usage, including through the use of cookies and other such devices, to monitor frequency of use and specific usage within any part of Generix and use it for statistical purposes, to improve our services, create new features, fix bugs, more accurately meet your preferences, etc. For example, we may use click-through monitoring to see who clicks to different sites within Generix, to build tag charts or record the geographical location from which the Services are accessed. This information will not be recorded by us as personal information in relation to your usage.

We may send you direct information or advertising about third party products or services that may interest you and will include unsubscribe information therein. In the event that we are acquired by or merged with a third party entity, or sell all or substantially all of our assets, we reserve the right, in any of these circumstances, to transfer or assign the information and content we have received and collected from our Users as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control. In the unlikely event of our bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors' rights generally, we may not be able to control how your personal information is treated, transferred or used
